- I had Viking Motorcycle Seats in Kent rework the stock one for my old SV (2005). I didn't find it any better and it was so much taller I needed to fit...

Question How to diagnose squeak?

Hi

Bike suddenly has an intermittent squeak while riding along.

Short squeaks. Not loud.

Update.

It is a broken radiator. I came off at slow speed on the ice a couple of weeks ago and it has dented the radiator and pushed it into the fan. I didn't realise the damage and no symptoms...

The jacket had a spare press stud (it has them on the sleeves).

I couldn't work out how to do it properly, and didn't have the tool, but I made holes in the collar and stuck one on each side...

These ones don't actually have a rubber part. It is a screw into a cylindrical nut which tightens into (ie expands) a metal tube with slits in. The slits are supposed to allow that end to expand, but...

The whole bar end, not the screw. The screw just turns but doesn't tighten any more.

I've emailed Oxford. Good suggestion and worth a go. They are not the retailer though (they don't sell direct)....

£30 + £30 installation at the garage. They put them on brackets down on the radiator.

I'm very happy with them. They are bright and make a good...
