Re: Turning a bike round in a garage
I forgot the bit that says the drive up to the garage is pretty steep, and with the Z800 weighing about 200kg it's not a particularly viable option!

Turning a bike round in a garage
We've moved house and have a garage that can be sued for vehicles (finally).
We're in the process of getting builders to quote to extend it (it should be a double but its about 1 1/4 at the mo) so...

I'm part looking forward and part dreading this.
I hope to get some good pointers, but expect to get told my riding is pants.
What can I expect, what should I take, tinted visor or clear and...

Re: Confectionary Help!
For that mcuhcn you could buy the kit off ebay to do it yourself and afterwards sell it on or start hiring them out.

Re: Buying bikes off eBay
I think that's the problem, by being an auction site it IS creating a legally binding contract, but no-one is likely to follow it up.

Re: Buying bikes off eBay
Maybe you can, but only because ebay seems to have made it that way. It's like 'homes under the hammer' - the number of people that buy property without viewing - I'd like to see them walk away from...

Re: Buying bikes off eBay
I suspect that all the ideas of 'not as described' 'not as expected' may work if it was bought as a classified ad, or under a buy it now as, iirc, that changes the purchasers rights. Items bought as...

Re: Best security
Thankfully my house is not on a main road, and I don't leave the bike outside. I run it ticking over with the door shut in the morning to get it warm, and only stop on the drive to wait for the door...

Re: Best security
That's pretty much what I'm doing, with the exception of the ground anchor. It's not definite where it will be at the mo so no point drilling and bolting a ground anchor when it may move to the other...

Best security
I've just picked up my shiny new bike so I'm looking to get some security to try and make sure it stays mine.
What do you all use, what would you recommend.
Bike is garaged overnight, kept in a...
