Never experienced that myself, I've had both the pr3 and 4. Many many miles, many many instances of hard breaking.

There was some stepping I will admit, but that has happened to every tyre I've ever had.

Although the BT016 I had when I first bought the SV was cupped as well.

Err slightly less worn than the middle. I'm missing you point here.

I got 12 out of a pr4 front before having the pair changed. It still had a good 2-3k left.

Original pr's were really good. Pr2's were shocking.

Front still going strong at 12k and the first rear still had a little left after 8k. I changed it early because the middle was square.

Plenty of grip wet and dry. You'll love them.

Very smooth conservative riding. It helps if you're not very heavy.

The Strom is about the same. It's much heavier with me on it though.

Had mine on for about 3k. Can't fault them. Only had one or two moments but they were in the wet and very much my fault. Wet performance is still the best I've experienced. Plenty of grip in the dry...

Hope you like buying rear tyres. The front one will last the life of the bike though.

HMC are having an open day on the 29th if you fancy trying out the Strom thou.

Have you considered a...

What did you say you were trading the Strom in for? I forgot and can't be bothered to look for the thread.

Have had the pr4 trails fitted, ~300 miles in and they look to be squaring already. Possibly just the profile of the tyre but will be keeping an eye on it.

Feel great so far though, very...

I'd say the PR3s are better than the Pirelli Angels though. I've had both and the Angels (a claimed 10k mileage) ran out too fast at 6k. I've managed to get 5.5k out of the stock bridgestone trail...

I'm fitting PR3s I think. I shall wait until the fours have some unbiased reviews before I give them a crack.

Very interested with these. Not sure if I just want to get a cheap set of 3s as I know and trust them.
