Agreed that was Shimsno's only glitch, although let's see what happens when they roll out 12speed :-)

I'm not a SRAN fan, except for Etape wireless, wish Shimano had introduced it, rumours suggest...

Agree, which is why I've only ever bought frames with 68mm threaded BB's, none of your press fit bollox :-). I'll stick with my Hope BB's which I can replace the bearings myself. I don't generate...

Same here, although I use black bar tape, as white always shows the dirt, so I can usually go a summer without having to change it.

New HT lead and plug cap, but still have an SV325.

Drained the fuel out of the tank and front float bowl. Gonna get some fresh fuel in it, see if that helps

Ha, I'd find that position a bit extreme, with my lack of flexibility.

I finished building this a couple of weeks ago, it's going to be my winter & do it all bike, as its got rack & mudguard...

Same reason I'm not getting another diesel, even though my Zafira lasted 15 years, mine was the last of the simple ones, only the egr valve gave me any problems.

Bit of clear helicopter tape in the right places might be helpful Darren?

I use it on my pushbikes to prevent cable rub etc

Yep, mine had never been done before and I had the fairing off to do the choke cable, so seemed like a good opportunity

Bibio used sesame seed oil to remove sticker glue residue I seem to recall
