Re: Cleaning Carbs

Having had one done that sorted my carb problems (not on an SV) - I agree. The main cost was labour in removing the carbs. The actual ultrasonic clean was virtually free - in fact you can buy your...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I think over a certain speed - probably somewhere between 10-15mph - you tend to slide rather than tumble. This is probably better as long as you don't slide into anything, and you're wearing...

Re: Windows 10

One beef I did have was the automatic assignment of 2 directories within "This PC" to my OneDrive.

I think it was Documents and one other, maybe Pictures. Still it was fixed with a quick google...

Re: Windows 10

Not used windows since XP but recently bought a win10 tablet. Can't install Linux due to the non-standard hardware.

Gotta admit, I like it. It runs well on hardware I would normally have...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Google finds plenty of batteries for sale.

It's also an entirely mechanical camera so it could be easily used with an external light meter, if that's not too much hassle. Otherwise, the exposure...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

We're doing a lot of that today. Perhaps if you make one worth listening to, we'll pay attention.

So far it's been "I went to an area where the culture was different to mine and I didn't like it...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I didn't miss that point, you just never made it. Check what you wrote. You mostly complained about what they wore and the economic appeareance of the area. The other chap you responded to complained...
