Oil filled cheaper to run than fan heaters, not sure about the halogen one's.
Just take longer to get the space warm, but if you're starting it remotely then not a problem.

I'm not so sure it is salvageable, as the bit on the header pipe needs to be removed in one piece without bending it, which is going to be bloomin difficult, then will there be enough material there...

Did that two years ago when we had our kitchen done, killed one sds drill using a tile lifting attachment. Nearly killed me.

The end result was worth it

There was a news report on the BEEB the other morning about fixing stuff, rather than throw it away, seems like too many folk throw stuff away when it stops working. Manufacturers haven't made it...

I seem to remember seeing somewhere, someone made a bigger plate to mount the RR, to dissipate the heat better, which would help the RR last a bit longer. Being stuck away behind the seat fairing out...

I used one of these on my faired Sv, which has a small hole in the top yoke nut, which worked well with my TomTom mount

Unlike a lot of folk I'd only had a glass or two last night, so I was up at 6 :D

Plus I was feeling extra righteous, so went out for a ride this morning, dry roads, not too cold & a tail wind...

Yep, my brother lives 20 minutes away, but we never call each other, but there's no animosity, we exchange birthday and Christmas cards. When we meet it's fine.
