Re: Enfield Continental GT

Re: The new Norton

Is this going to make the specs for the Lightweight TT? Would be interesting to see some more serious competition for the Kwakasaki dominance of the past few years.

Re: The new Jawa

From models of old you could do all of the servicing yourself with rudimentary tools, that was one of their selling points to markets that little spare cash for dealer servicing or had none close by....

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

That is sooo accurate. Love the way it's a BBC clip making fun of BBC reporting styles too.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

And if the civil servants decide to put several spanners in the works as things are not going the way they'd like it to you can bet it will screw up big time.

Perfect example is the privatisation...

Re: Schrader valve

Just try paying for something costing 8.10 with a Tenner and a 10p in most shops these days. The look of confusion on the face of most younger till jockeys is a picture. I've yet to be given the...

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread

Will probably need to be marked as fire safe, but most things are these days. Give them a call and ask Bibs, would have thought it would be fine and it's a great idea.

Re: Kawasaki W800 is coming back

I have a T100 as I wanted twin clocks and the ever so slightly bigger frame. The ST has the same engine as mine. Most people I've spoken to who try them absolutely love them and the dealer tried to...

Re: Kawasaki W800 is coming back

Hmmm. Paint aside (just horrid) it is a nice bike that's trying too hard. Kwakasaki are putting it up against the Triumph Street Cup by the looks of it instead of the Street Twin which is where it...

Re: A few pictures from our round Britain trip.

Nice pics Col. I have a very similar shot of St Govern's Chapel and as it's just a few miles from ma and pa I know Horsey Gap well.

What was your favourite bit?

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Good luck Tim - you should be about to sit in the chair as I type. Oddly enough I have a checkup at the fang fairy myself at 2 today. Last two times she has tried the hard sell on teeth whitening...

Re: ovens

Considering how expensive ovens are you'd not break even on it for many years, if at all. And yes, the fan is only ever in the bottom/main oven from the ones we looked at a few years ago so if you...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Did I mention that we also have dozens of tree rats (squirrels) in the garden too? Little sods eat anything I leave out for the birds on the table so that's out but at least they cannot get to the...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Anything like piles of logs or wild/weed areas all set aside for insects or hibernating frogs/newts/hedgehogs in my garden gets pulled apart by the badgers and foxes. Few years ago I made a masonry...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Half the leaves are already in my garden. Luckily it's in the corner, behind my shed, carpeting the scruffy area where the compost bins and water butts live.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Tried that but the camera fogged up as soon as I stepped outside and I was not going to hang about and let it acclimatise as I was getting f-ing cold as well!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Watching a tree in my neighbours garden "rain" leaves. Quite the comical sight really. Just over the fence beside a shed in my neighbours garden is a self-seeded Ash tree - grows at a phenomenal...

Re: Suzuki X5 long term project

Sounds great already. And I love that the engine roundels are the same as those that were on my 83 GSX250EZ. Ah memories.
