The NIP has to be issued within 14 days of the offence. This includes paperwork to confirm the driver which needs to be returned within a set period.

They then have up to 6 months to issue...

I can't remember which way round it is, but if you have the "new" RFID style passport, you can use one to renew the other.

So either passport details and pic for the licence or vice versa online....

Yes you may get held up getting out etc but your tyres won't go cold in that time...

Tbh I think the best set up would be a pure electric drive that has a normal engine to charge it, similar to the range extender but with more guts so it can actually sustain itself on a long drive so...
