Re: 1st bath in about 2 years

I didn't want a blue one after having 2 yellow curvy's in the past, but I do like the colour now :)

Plus, I agree, curvy certainly is the best looker of the line :)

1st bath in about 2 years

Waiting in for a parcel to be collected, so thought I'd give the sv it's 1st bath in about 2 years. Saying that she's been left outside for most of that time without any acf, or wd40, she's cleaned...

Re: 1979 Suzuki X5 Long term rebuild

I've decided that I need to get a life. Following on from the new tail lid, I've sold my old one for a nice profit, bought another 2nd hand one & sold the "new" old one for a tidy profit, which...

Re: Photo Comp - Chat Thread

I have to admit that the forum is very quiet compared to a few years ago. The festive thing doesn't interest me (bad, I know) hence why I didn't contribute.

Re: 1979 Suzuki X5 Long term rebuild

I spotted the holy grail of parts on Ebay on Christmas Day, so bought it straight away. This little lid is new/old stock again, but has to be the rarest part on an X5. I have been offered 100 for my...

Re: The all new slap bang up to date photo of the day 2019!

I really need to start using my camera again :( I've been on a bit of a downer of late, so haven't bothered with much, other than my X5. I didn't have any drink over New Year either, but I did buy a...

Re: January Photo Comp - Hit and Hope

I'm not the festive type, hence why I didn't submit anything last month. This month is different. I had a play with using light a couple of years ago & came out with this neon cocktail....

Re: 1979 Suzuki X5 Long term rebuild

My NOS chain guard arrived from Indonesia yesterday, brilliant service saying that it was only ordered on Christmas Eve. Only 2 screws to fit, so took no time at all....

Re: 1979 Suzuki X5 Long term rebuild

Just goes to show that you should never throw stuff away. Front brake line off an SV that I had lying around in the dark recesses of my shed. Hey presto, it fits perfectly. A nice little saving of...

Re: 1979 Suzuki X5 Long term rebuild

Came home from work today & found that another couple of items had dropped through the letterbox. The correct kickstart & a pair of fork reflectors, so, after going food shopping with the missus, I...

Re: Smart phones

I can't understand the "I must have the latest & greatest" mentality of some people. I have been using a Chinese Android phone for years, I've just "Upgraded" to a 120 Honor 7X. It's made by Huawei...

Re: 1979 Suzuki X5 Long term rebuild

Still a fair way to go yet Gary. I'm thinking of removing the engine again as the middle crank bearing is a little noisy, I can't make my mind up as I won't be riding it that often

I'll be...

Re: IMO Best android phone for about 200

I've got the Honor 7X. Seems to do the job. It's made by Huawai. Seems quick & the camera is brilliant
