Actually the slight twist seems to have restored functionality if only temporarily, and i looked at the cost of the suzuki connector part, a rebuild kit from ebay is cheaper, and sadly a secondhand...

My 2004 SV650s just died on me and refused to start, initally I assumed the battery had died so i replaced it, this seemed to fix the problem for a day or two but then the starter refused to spin...

Turns out the shorter hose is too short and the banjo bolts at too different an angle to make that work :(
Looks like ill have to get a lift to work for the next few days.

I used sikaflex 291 to stick my fender extender on about 4 years ago and its still stuck fast, just hold it on with clothes pegs overnight while the sikaflex cures.

If you have a K4+ pointy go crazy and buy the posh aftermarket hayabusa gear lever with the folding tip, it looks miles better than the old one :)...

If you have an 04 or newer sv650 it will have the gear lever that rotates on a separate lug (that's prone to unscrew and fall out) instead of the older design where the lever pivots on the footpeg.
