Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Managed to break the Givi rack off my Hornet! Coming out of a relatively quick right hander on the throttle there was a fairly significant bump (actually a fold in the tarmac) close to the nearside...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I had a similar out of the blue call from someone saying they were from my bank explaining they needed to discuss a recent transaction (some money had been deposited from abroad). I said "go ahead"...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

And how does that make you feel? My point exactly! Just because it's London doesn't mean you have to chuck out your principals.

If you're going to filter, with or without a motor, then don't do...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Hi Red Ones, I wasn't trying to have a go at you, or in any way defend the driver, sorry if it came across that way, I was simply trying to explore why they may have been motivated into having a pop...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

If you were stationery when he hit you I'm inclined to understand why he might have been a bit miffed.

There's an easy way to remember the etiquette around filtering. There are car lanes, and...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I'm trying to imagine this, you were filtering and someone ran into the back of you, and bikes don't have number plates on the front so they were in a car....? Must have been a big gap you were...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Honda! Just how complicated can a routine valve check be.... try the VFR800 VTEC! Camshafts out minimum of twice just to check them, let alone if you actually have to make any adjustments......

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I'm really hoping some things really are inherited..... My grandfather was in his late 70's and as fit as a fiddle, complained of feeling a little unwell one day and said he was going for a nap. ...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I think it very much depends on the individual and how it impacts on them and those around them. Dementia can be incredibly frustrating for friends and family but sometimes the "sufferer" seem to be...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

My wife has a fairly complicated prescription and she gets two pairs for less than that. Mind you she's not that fussy, after all she married me.....

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Because you and me would have just sat there in our drivers seat whilst some prima donna set about ripping our wing mirror off with her bare hands...... :)

I don't regard anything I see in or on...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
