Mosquito cannon were in the bomb bay, with browning .303s in the nose.
Believe they'd sussed most of these issues by later in the war in the typhoon and tempest, ending up with a pretty formidable...

Not sure what a WW2 cruiser would have done against modern missiles anyway.
Of interest is that it was sunk using torpedos first designed in the 1920s and perfected in WW2.

Calibre and bullet shape all affect the ballistic coefficient which you use to work out the elevation based on range, muzzle velocity etc.
ammo temp yup, powder burns quite a lot slower at colder...

So you shoot east; rotation is effectively faster.
F = m v^2 / r .... v gets bigger, F gets bigger, force required to hold same arc is bigger, only force there is weight = mg.

That is not what affects the bullet.
The effect comes from the difference in rotational speed where the objects inertia goes someway to offset the force of gravity on it.

Throwing something yeah, too many other factors , but if you are shooting over a reasonable range with rifle it can be worth consideration.

This would mean a velocity of blood of an average 8050000m/s. .338 rifle round is about 850m/s...
