As I said Tamsen it's specific to the Insurer and Policy what they class as allowable mods.If you want to be certain it's best not to second-guess Insurers for the sake of a phone call IMHO.

Word of warning.Fitting none standard brake lines without certification e.g steel braided outers are considered an,"Upgrade" and anyone considering this should contact their Insurance company before...

Also pull apart EVERY electrical connector and check and clean any corrosion.I do mine once every two years and use Switch cleaner
