Re: Well, it HAD to Happen

Two things come to mind------

Re: Quote of the day (sorry, Brexit related)

I agree. I read it and it seems to confirm that there was no constitutional requirement so they made it up as they went along. Several very learned opinions but nothing definite. That is typical of...

Re: Quote of the day (sorry, Brexit related)

There is no constitutional requirement to hold referenda so there was nothing illegal about the Heath government signing the treaty of Rome. That is the job of government ,to govern on behalf of the...

Re: Do not cross this man...

How about sanity with Starmer?
Sooner or later the grown ups will return home and the children will be sent to bed after the spanking they so desperately deserve.;)

Is the law different in Scotland?
In England any company that "cant sack useless employees" deserves to go out of business. The law is very much on their side just provided they follow the correct...

Re: the rights of the citizen versus society

You are right. We used to execute people for stealing goods worth more than a few quid or transport them for life for nicking a loaf of bread. It didnt prevent crime then and it wouldnt now. What...

My local MP is Teresa Villiers, High Tory...

Re: the mood in your area
