Re: Advice Please: Head stock bearing tightening?

Ok tx Bibio, sucking in information here.

I've made myself an overlock stand to raise the front already some time ago, it works with a 10mm rod that goes in a hole in the engine block. So all my...

Re: Advice Please: Head stock bearing tightening?

Hey Craigg ok about that nor tensioning top adjuster nut, nor top yoke nut should influence bearing tension, even not at 80Nm I think. But 80Nm effectively sounds too much on a alu nut. Guess there...

Re: Oil change confusion

Yes well that's how it should be done, did it like that past 9 years. But not this time. I am quite sure though I put 2.5 liters in there initially, according to indicators on motul 5100 10w40...

But since I was in a...

Gentlemen, gentlemen, keep your calm.

I've been looking for a way to put the rear of my K3 bike a little heigher, since the front went up considerably after installing progressive forksprings. I...

Re: glysantin g30 coolant?

In fact, the Toyota Longlife red coolant appeared to be a HOAT already, containing benzoate as organic acid, and phosphates of course.

Found back the link why phosphates could be dangerous in...

Re: glysantin g30 coolant

There seemed to be another danger with hi-phosphates/no-silics coolants, beside risk of mixing with hard water, that european coolant engineers were afraid of; cannot remember. I think under certain...

Re: glysantin g30 coolant

yeah the old toyota red is an IAT with no silicates, lots of phosphates. If mixed with distilled water it will give no problems and no risk of silicate fallout. Here in Belgium I cannot find it...

glysantin g30 coolant?

Anybody used this coolant for a while without problems?

I cannot find if this OAT uses 2-eha which is known to be a plasticizer and thus might just dissolve the sv's plastic waterpump impeller,...

Re: rear shock change

Great, need to know cause I want to raise my K3-n's tail like 35mm.
96-99 GSXR750 shock would be best then.
There was also a dogbone-shortening/tail rise ratio if I remember well.

Tx, Phil.

Re: cracks in rear sprocket drum?

I can't see how this should help me. The bolts/nuts are spinning simply because they are stripped. This of course has nothing to do with the special shaped bolt head not being housed in proper...

Re: steering head bearings
