Par for the course in supertwins. The underslung caliper assists with wheel changes and as we all know the SV suspenders and brakes are budget at best.

Bikesafe today: Observer tells me if I turned up at a police training school for a 3 week course I wouldn't have too much bother passing it.. I may now use the "pass" for 10% off IAM/Rospa training...

Both the batteries you listed will be fine. I'm almost positive (bad pun) the dead battery is the wrong size
