Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
After the house insurance renewal quote almost doubled and the car insurance renewal went up from £135 to £220, I was dreading the bike insurance quote. However Bikesure have pleasantly surprised me....

I'm with you on that one. I don't miss my one hour each way commute.
Not having to pay train fares means I can afford to shop at M&S. No gaps on the shelves there

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Insurance again.
I've been with Hastings for 6 years and they've always been good at renewal time. Last year my premium went down without me even asking. However, this year, after 3,500...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
My bike insurance renewal came today. Last year, £223; this year £156. No changes to bike or personal circumstances. I don't know how they worked that out but I'm pleasantly surprised.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I managed to get out on the bike today for the first time in a while. 360 miles, most of it dodging Scotland's finest potholes. I'm wrecked now but at least I'll sleep well.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
The SV has been outside under a cover all winter and not ridden since early September. I'd taken the battery out to store inside - put it back in the bike and it started up on the button first time....

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I bought some of the Aveeno daily moisturiser at Superdrug a couple of weeks ago. They had it on offer at £4 - I don't know if it still is but worth checking.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Picked up a couple of old Beatles albums in the record shop yesterday.
Considering that they are 50 years old, I can't get over just how good 'Revolver' and 'Rubber Soul' sound on vinyl.
