Re: Exhaust removal F#$%^@!!!

Cut it. If you ever need to go back to stock you can get another for next to nothing.

Re: battery

Parasitic draw. Something is draining it. Disconnect it for winter storage but you will need to trace the issue with a multimeter come spring time.

Re: Sv650 curvy and srad fork swap

You will need to mount a Hal sensor to the front fender mounting point and fix magnets to your disc. Gsxr sensor works or buy one on Amazon.

Re: Suzuki sv650 2018 ( Brake pads replacement)

I am not a big name brand guy but when it comes to front brakes I only use quality stuff. Vesserah Galfer EBC Brembo or OEM even. You can find all of them online. Someone here probably has something...

Re: Curvy rear shock swap

I have a Penske triple clicker from a ZX6r but it works with both gens 1&2 on the SV due to right height adjustability. HMU when you want to upgrade.

Re: Where does this go?

I believe it goes in the battery box. I removed my box so I can't take a pic.

Re: GSXR front end conversion guides?

There is literally a complete guide on how to do this right here in this forum. 2 of them actually. 11+ 600/750 is plug and play minus steering lock. 04/05 600 750 is 100% STRAIGHT SWAP.. Most...

Re: 2000 Curvy suspension refresh

Ebay is a good place to start. 10 or 15 weight depending on your weight riding style. ZX6/10 shock is common for Gen2 because the shocks are the same length. 330mm. I believe Gen 1 had a longer...

Re: Speedo swap

They are very different inside. Someone here has pics of all of them and might post them up for you. You can probably find a thread here that lists all of them with pics.

Re: K7 rear axle nut

I only tighten it until there is no slop on the axle. Meaning the wheel stops wiggling. The safety pin prevents the nut from moving. 100nm was too tight. **** was binding like crazy.

Re: Jacking up rear end

Do you have an A-frame ladder? I use straps to eyelets I put in my joists in the garage. If not invest in jack stands. They are cheap.

I'm a pinch I changed a shock on the side stand with a...

Re: Gen1 battery woes again!

Quick question. Why didn't you just wire the led light into the OEM wires instead of the horn? That might be the issue. Also... Not sure on Gen 1 but Gen 2 you can tap the orange/white wire for power...

Re: Steering angle change

That would make the handling super twitchy. I am in a similar situation with a taller shock. I am looking for fork cap extenders and you might want to do the same or just convert to bars vs clipons....

Re: Front end woes

You can do it all yourself pretty easily. There is a YouTube video for all that stuff. Fork seals might be tough with out the right tools.

Re: Minimal Change for Track Day

Springs and oil up front and ZX6/10/14 shock on the rear. Under $200 for parts. No clue on labor but might as well do the front seals/covers.

Re: Aftermarket fairings.

The fairings don't fit good. Better off wrapping the tank and going with track fairings and getting creative with the lights.
