Ditto.It took me a short while to incorporate the fantastic engine braking of the SV.

I cover both brakes in Traffic as using the rear brake gives much more slow speed control plus the rear brake...

Nice one.Keeping core temps up helps keep fingers etc warmer.

Also if you are going for a day out have a bowl of porridge.It's a slow release food and keeps hunger away and the body core temps...

That's pretty much the same as mine but I did use the bracket.I too did not have to re-jet and it has had no effect on performance/Mileage except perhaps a little improvement by less weight :smt035

I never thought about that.I just wanted it to replace the Stock one.I must be possible but will need a bit of rethinking/tweaking and most likely need the longer bracket on the Slip-on making and...

I have a cheap Chinaprovich Slip-on on my Stock 1999 Curvy.Rider Weight 14 stone.Quite speedy riding when permitted ;-)

Last fuel check I got 54 mpg and my low fuel warning usually doesn't come on...

As others have said if the Insurance won't cover it then you have to do a cost analysis of bringing it back to see if it's worth it.

The bare minimum I would do it drain the fuel tank and buy some...
