Guessing this has been covered before but I can't find it, haynes manual says ytx12 for the curvy but it is too tall, is the haynes wrong? Or is it possible to make it fit?

Whilst bored and reading a bike mag, I see an advert for iTC's, a £20 drop in tank fuel conditioning tablet, apparently this one time treatment from FTC direct returned a 10% fuel economy improvement...

Mine at the moment have 20f stamped on them, so would appear standard, will measure up when they come off probably on the weekend ( weather looks foul so might get some shed time )

Running a hunch,

In theory one could fit a rear shock that was a little long or short then obtain the desired ride height by using longer or shorter dog bones,

What is the orgs views on this?

Done all that now, welded the little holes and used the oil recommended, turns out following the guide for static/rider sag I have achieved the recommended settings by adjusting the preload, front...

This is a mate of a mate, he brought the bike new and had the factory upgrade of the time fitted, the standard one he's got has never been used, so I figured it should be good, so if it fits.......

Plus one on that also I unbolted the splitter block under the lower yoke ( leave the hoses on ) twisted it so the master cylinder hose is upper most and gave it a good shake so any trapped air rose...
