Re: 03 clutch in an 00 engine
Well I can confirm that a 2nd gen clutch fits in a gen 1 engine. It's a straight swap if any body else feels the need to do it. The only tight spot is the 2nd gen clutch has 3 protrusions on its out...

I heard it didn't have enough fuel left to decelerate and was doing 500km/h when it hit the sea.

Re: Exhaust Rattle - how to stop?
Bibio, I hate to disagree but please research cold welding of stainless steel fasteners. Using different grades of stainless lessons the likely hood but as most people don't know what they have when...

Re: running problems
It could be old plug caps and HT leads, that can cause rough running as soon as there is any load on the spark.
Also crud in the carbs, it might be sucking gunk up and blocking a jet as soon as the...

Re: Exhaust Rattle - how to stop?
Bibio, Why would putting copper grease on the threads before tightening them up cause the threads to strip? Also stainless to stainless nut bolt combinations should never be done dry as there is a...

Re: Gear/nautral issues
The actuator is a plastic contraption that you can get apart but even if you can find all of the ball bearings the plastic is usually worn out. A new one is normally the only long term solution.
