+1 on Stewart - used him a lot when I had my SV, and still does a service every year on my VFR. Top bloke! Bring a pack of biscuits with you! ;)

If you charge it up before hand it will work fine.

Re: Engine knocking or just my imagination?

Unfortunately the oil warning light is more of a "it's too late" light.

Sounds like a bottom end knock to me (from listening to the video).

Your best bet... grab a short length of hose or a...

Re: Indicator not flashing, staying on

Check the bulbs are actually working - check for good grounds.

If a bulb isn't work it will mean the indicator relay won't work - sometime this results in bulbs flashing double time or just...

Re: Is This Too Much Lube Fling

Scot oiler all the way!!

For the price, ease of use, extended chain life, not to mention barely having to adjust the chain there is simply no better way around it!

Used to spend ages cleaning...

Probably not enough power in the battery to get it going - if it's been sat around for a while then battery would have probably discharged so much that a charger wouldn't get it up to full capacity. ...

Re: For Sale. SV650SX 1999 Curvy Black. £1300.
