The stock R/R is W 8cm H 65cm D 3cm when I removed the tailpiece today.
Elextrex World one is W 8cm H 8cm D 3cm so is that extra few mm on the corners that causes...

I tried one of elextrex world's reg/recs on my curvy, it's bigger item than OE so the r/h tailpiece plastic was touching against it before screwholes were lined up so no chance of fitting the bolts...

Drain the fuel out definately, if it still smells of fuel it can go in a car to mix with the fresh stuff, if it smells like wood varnish drain into an old oilcan and lose it in the waste oil tank...
