This was last summer before I swapped the SV1000 for a Street Triple. The silver one was my sons. Usually there at least once a month.

Re: Anybody into greenlaning?

Honda XR's (250 or 400) are tough, light and reliable and definitely not too powerful. My 250 proved perfect for a first bike and has a comfy seat for when you're riding on road.

Re: Puncture Repairs near Cannock / Burntwood?

Try CMC Cannock, they certainly do tyres. If not I've had a rear repaired at 2 wheel tyre centre Great Barr a few years ago.

Re: Which disc lock?

I just use a good quality Yale padlock. Fits through the holes in the front disc just right.
Might be a cheaper option.

Re: Restricted ECU wanted

Changing the ECU on a pointy is a couple of minutes apparently. No need to mess with washers and throttle restrictors, and you can sell it on again after.

You must make sure it'll fit the K4...

As it says really. Need one for my son who's just bought a nice silver SV. Willing to collect as long as it's not too far from Wolverhampton.

Re: Ron Haslam Race School + Rain = :-(

Did you not fancy wearing the kit they provide, particulary as it was wet?

I've been twice now and always found their kit very good.

Re: Bike scam?

If they've not photo'd the damage, it's probably a lot worse than they're making it out to be.

Re: What crosser for mainly road use?

What about the Honda XR250 or 400? Nice and light at just over 100Kg and a wide comfy seat that won't give you a wedgie.

Perfect for the green lanes, love mine.

Re: Chain questions
