Talking of batteries, we have a planned power cut today. The house battery is happily running things including the heating. A bit of solar power on a sunny day helps as well.

Morning Gary. I was pleasantly surprised this morning how light it was (i.e. not pitch black!) walking the dogs. Hi-vis on still of course, but much more pleasant.
