Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Whilst shopping today, some bloke dropped a 35 bottle of Moet champagne, boom!

No one hurt, he picked up another and legged it to the cash desk, didn't hang around!

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Sad day indeed Shiftin, 91 is a good innings. Watching someone go downhill with Dementia isn't something I'd like to see again.

Condolences for you and your family

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Tis nice isn't it. Had my Zafira for 15 years, and I would have kept it, had I not thought it was going to cost a lot to keep going. The temporary 700 Astra was fun for a while, but it was the same...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Yep I do all of the above, and I'm sure mine is triggered off by our office, either by the carpet or something else, as I'd had a day in the office and not outside. We don't have air con thank god,...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Had a headache from sinus pain most of the day, came home to this rancid smell of my vegetarian daughters Pad Thai cooking sauce, nearly made me vomit.

Re: Misfiring

Check the choke cable hasn't gone stiff as this was a major cause of my curvy running poorly.

Usually the rear carb once it's gone through the splitter, it stopped the rear plunger from retracting...

Re: The Org Bar, Pull up a chair and share. What're you drinking?

I'm going through a bit of a non alcoholic phase, not a deliberate choice, just don't fancy drinking anything alcoholic at home. When I'm away with my team, I'll have a pint with a meal. Perhaps it...

Re: Wheeler Dealers

I didn't think I'd like the change, but I've watched all this series.

Some changes don't work, like Chris Evan on Top Gear, or even worse ( I stopped watching years ago), but the format is broadly...

Re: Advice on getting my bike going after a long lay off

You can split the caliper or just drill a hole in the caliper and punch the old pin out.

Obviously the hole needs to be smaller than the diameter of the pin
