Well I finally got my official time for for the half marathon, 2hours 47 minutes.

I'm happy with that for my first attempt, main thing is I wasn't last last, placed 342 out of 353

Was a nice run, weather was good as well.

The course itself was ok except the finish line, you have to run a bit past the finish line to then come back again to cross it :-x

Yeah I did track it on Strava but managed to pause it for about 10 minutes so it's not quite accurate

Well I survived, might be a different story tomorrow though lol

Not fast by any stretch of the imagination but my aim was to finish it in under 3 hours and I crossed the line at about 2:45/2:50 so...

I got out for a run on Tuesday, just 5k. Going out again tomorrow at some point and going to try for a long run again, try to beat my previous 13k distance

Half marathon is in 2 weeks

The goal at the moment is to finish the half marathon, I'm not looking much further ahead than that at the moment.
I like just getting out in the fresh air with my headphones on and being in my own...

I'm not overly bothered about pace, it seems pretty consistent at around 6:50-7mins km. if I get faster then it's just a nice...

Yeah 9 weeks isn't much to go from 5k runs to a 21k run, I even lost a couple of weeks when it snowed then I had a bad cold which took a while to shake off.
I'm on strava and looking at run analysis...

We've had a spate of ram raids recently, 3 in the past week! 2 involved a jcb through a wall/window and ATM machines being taken

I had clutch switch fail on my first sv, then my third sv thevswitch has failed and been bypassed before I bought it and current sv has had 2 switches fail and has been bypassed for at least 8 years...

I've had a few clutch lever switches fail in the 15 years I've been on SVs. Current sv the switch failed so I bypassed it years ago

Haha no itís not for everyone, it is painful at the time and a little sore for a day or 2 afterwards.

Iím no expert but I think a dominatrix might be more than the £80ph my tattooist charges ;)
