Re: Odometer not ticking over

I finally got a replacement part for my disintegrated speedo sensor. It's from a 2007 model but the applicability is OK for my 2003. The problem is the speedo is reading double the speed and distance...

Re: Reserve fuel tank specs

OK thanks.

I just found my owners manual that I didn't realise I had. It has a slightly different part number than the one you quoted. My bike is a 2003 model so I assume yours is not. Anyway mine...

I am trying to gauge my fuel economy fairly precisely and am having a hard time tracking down the exact specifications for the fuel capacity when the reserve light starts to come on.

I have seen...

I understand there are 3 other components which can affect starting and that they work independently.

1. Clutch lever switch
2. Side stand switch
3. Gear position switch

It would seem that...

Hi,

This morning my 2003 SV650 wouldn't start, no action at all from the starter motor.

1. I think the battery is fine, I get...

Hi all,

I am looking to buy an SV650S around 2003-4 model. I have seen that some models have a black frame but I prefer the shiny silver aluminium finish that I had with my old model.

I was...

Re: Corrosion Problem

Sounds pretty full on if you wanted to go that far, but everyone has different perspectives and extremes of how they see things. Thanks for the feedback
