When I was offered the course, you are given a website to go to that shows you available dates. I think almost all were weekdays, but can't remember...

The good thing is, you can choose a course...

True, and, as it's not a speeding conviction, you don't declare it to you insurer either... unless they specifically ask.

The course I did was a morning (4 hours), and you have to pay for it, which is usually about the same as the fine.

I've circles the tread wear indicator. It's the little lump of rubber in the tread. It's to show when the tread has worn down.

Difficult to tell in the pictures, but the tyre is looking a little bit square IMO. In the second pic you can see the tread wear indicator.
