Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
After the house insurance renewal quote almost doubled and the car insurance renewal went up from £135 to £220, I was dreading the bike insurance quote. However Bikesure have pleasantly surprised me....

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Similar story here. Home insurance doubled in price. Car insurance up from £135 to £220. In both cases, I managed to get much better prices by going through the comparison sites.
Bike insurance...

Re: Battery tenders
I tend not to ride in the winter months so take the battery out and keep it in the house. It doesn't lose much charge but I put it on a CTEK every couple of months to top up and when it goes back in,...

And some Ilford Pan 400 soaked in some kind of grainy, contrasty Chinese soup again.
A couple of the night shots

Re: Vintage film cameras
I've got another week. Scans are back already. A 6 hour turnaround. I'll put some up if they are any good.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Some bargain buys there. And you are right about the m43 45mm. It's a great lens.
I handed a couple more films in for processing; one colour and 1 b&w for the outrageous price of 7 pounds 20 for...

Re: Vintage film cameras
My pics from the XA3 came out nicely. Very grainy and contrasty but quite gritty and realistic for street style shots. I tried to post a few but failed dismally due to the Internet issues. Will have...

Re: Tyres.
I have the GT2s on my yammy 900. The rear lasted about 8,300 before it was replaced but the bike has a lot of torque at the rear and can be heavy on the wear. So I'd expect more miles from the SV,...

Re: Vintage film cameras
I got carried away at the weekend. I went out for a city walk and dropped by a couple of local parks. Somehow I managed to finish an entire 36 roll of Rollei RPX 400. I'd decided on that with the...

Decided on the XA3. Quick and easy compared to a rangefinder and my ageing eyes. Got the EM10 and a couple of lenses too.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I think I've only shot 3 rolls this year, 2 of those being B&W which I processed myself. I'm hoping a change of scene will flick my creativity switch.

That's what I thought. Point and shoot too; no need to worry about focus. On the other hand, I'd lose ay control over settings. Decisions, decisions.
