The SV is a budget bike in almost all aspects, however it does what it is designed to very well and with a few tweaks it is also a good race bike, the fast lads are currently lapping Oulton Park...

as tom_e says they take a bit of getting used to coming down the box, blipping the throttle as you change down helps. You can buy sigma slipper clutches, but they don't last long esp considering...

Dyan pro is from the states, they are designed for a standard type seat unit to fit. I would say the early 675 triumph seat unit would fit, I have one on my minitwin using a cut down standard frame.

I'd give the linkages a good dosing in WD40 or similar to make sure they are undo able. esp if they are that corroded. Nice looking shock you'll have to keep us update to how well it performs.

check the clutch push rod oil seal is flush with the cases and not pushed in otherwise it will **** oil out. also check the rear crankcase breather is connected properly.

All you need to do is cut the chain to size, use a grinder to grind away the side plate at the right size, then just joint it with the rivet link.

How much for the ported heads, whats the condition of them are they curvy heads or injection.

I Switched over to them when i couldn't get hold of the DP racing pads at a good price anymore. They have great feel and tend to last longer than the SBS ones too.

It depends on which SV you have pointy or curvy.

The curvy has different head stock sizes compared to the GSXR's you can get an odd size bearing (47x30x12) that allows the K3-K4 GSXR yokes to fit...
