Re: The All New Megathread

I'd be happy not to see any more snow for a while Trev. I need to clear the veg beds and slather them in horse muck first, so that it breaks down and gets absorbed before next season.

Re: The All New Megathread

Morning orgers. We have a light dusting of snow here this morning. Don't know that I want any more just at the moment!

How did the cycling go?

Re: If all Christmas carols were played and sung like this....

I think it's actually a mandocello Craig, next size up from a mandolin. The tone says to me that it's a flat back but I could be wrong.

**Edit**
Or it may be an octave mandolin.

**EDIT#2**...

Re: What have you tinkered with today?

Sounds like it could be entertaining Adam, careering down wet muddy lanes in the dark with a strobe light by which to see your way! :D

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Ooh nooo! I feel slightly nauseous thinking about that. I like the texture of mayonnaise and the flavour of chocolate but definitely not together!

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Hope they can revive the hoglet Mike. We've lost 50% of the hedgehog population since 2000. There were apparently about 30 million of them in the 1950s, we're now down to under 1 million. We need all...

Re: BP Brass Monkey ride.

Well, if we do manage a ride, it's likely to be very brass monkey.

Re: The All New Megathread

Evening all.

I have the joy of a drive up to Manchester tomorrow, leavened at least by seeing one of my daughters, who I shall be collecting from uni.

No snow here, instead, a heavy dusting of fallen trees in the area!

Re: The all new slap bang up to date photo of the day 2021!

One of my top five walks of the year so far. First time up there for probably 15 years, despite living so close to the place. I shall be going back.
