Sv650 2000 front seat mounts

Found a couple of issues one bolt on front seat doesn’t tighten up but slightly worse the small thin metal bar that the front seat clips under has come away left side. Looks rusty so not sure if it’s...

Cheers chaps. I managed to find a nut lurking in the tool box and managed to get it behind the frame. It seems the screw goes into the harness, probably not the best routing of cables but didn’t feel...

Front seat bolt Curvy

Added a quick connect charger cable and found one of the front seat bolts don’t tighten up. Any one had the same and have a fix.

Looks like it bolts to the subframe and feels like a captive bolt...

Ok correction he's not tried checking for 12volts when he hits the button.so could still be relay / solenoid perhaps?

Dont think the fact its bent would fail but the fact its ground a part off the lever I would think is a fail especially as its a brake lever. i had a fail because the front brake lever had snapped...

Make sure its well lit up, PIR floodlight. if they can work in the dark they have time, if they are lit up like a xmas tree they may not take a second look.

Ebay, Paint protection film used for Car Bumpers etc. about £3 for 15cm x1m roll and just cut to size. self adhesive should stick to fork legs if clean.

Thanks Bibio, it seems just the front seat, pillion is the same as are the rear plastics which is handy. all the ebay sellers selling seats all seem to say 03 > 07 etc which is clearly not true. ...

Looks like the Pillion seat is the same so the seat cowl should also be.
