Re: Super heavy clutch pull (Snapped clutch cable)

Mine is a first gen curvy. I find the clutch quite heavy and actually painful after an hour or so. Less if town riding. I have an aftermarket lever but it looks like an oem, in size, but is carbon...

Re: Fuel Tank Range

As R1ffR4ff states. My 99 curvy will usually get about 150 miles before the light starts to flash.

Re: Part ex prices

Ha ha. Yes that seems to be the reply everyone gives, who has ridden bikes with abs, so it must make a difference. You would think it would be standard on all bikes from the last 5 years or so.

Would be nice but having never had a bike with ABS it wouldn't put me off.

Re: Part ex prices

The new W800 looks a lot nicer than the old. I think a T100 is out of my price bracket though.

Re: Part ex prices

:thumright: Will keep an aye on that page. Fuel gauge and rust seem to be the early winners.

Re: Part ex prices

I do like them but thought an 1100 for weekend blasts was a bit OTT.........but maybe not.

Re: Part ex prices

You're a wise man Bibio and you're right. I've had my SV 15 years now and it only let me down once, when the R&R packed up. I find it too painful to ride for any length of time and was going to go...

Re: Part ex prices

Talking Heads mentioned the short service interval but I didn't know about the first service. That's like BMW service prices. I'm hearing what I already knew really and think I maybe got a bit...

Re: Part ex prices

Well the dealer reckons there's been loads of interest in the interceptor so you may be right and they'll offer me bugger all. If that's the case I'll sell it private. I was thinking of leaving it a...

Re: Part ex prices

Yeah. I'd probably take 1000 if offered, just for ease of sale and down payment on the new one.

Re: Part ex prices

That's taking the p*ss. They lost a sale for the sake of a couple of hundred quid.

Part ex prices

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of part ex prices compared to private sale. I'm taking my SV in, to maybe part ex on a Royal Enfield interceptor, but don't really know what to...

Re: Kawasaki W800 is coming back

I prefer the look of the T100 but the ST is a tad cheaper. I think the T100 also has a higher seat height, which at 6' 1" I'd prefer.

Re: Kawasaki W800 is coming back

I love the look of the new Royal Enfield interceptor 650 which is also air/oil cooled. Seriously thinking about trading the curvy in for one ( when they eventually reach these shores ). Me knees and...

Re: Topyokes conversion

Nice work. Does look the business mind. Was thinking about doing this on my curvy. I think I'd need to trim off some fairing being a curvy.
