My bro in law is a qualified electrician although he modestly does smoke alarms in office blocks but I might get him to help me take it apart. I reckon the little white box is the issue here.

My living room ceiling light has packed up. I could buy a new one but I really like the design of this one.

For a couple of weeks upon switching it on it would buzz and flicker and then come on....
