I think there is a certain satisfaction at doing it in your own car, but I do think it's wise to get a few lessons with a professional even if just to learn what is expected on test.

Worth checking to see if she can still build a NCB as a named driver on your existing policy, I've heard some companies will do that, especially if you have been with them a while and they are likely...
