‘02 Curvy for sale.

Hi all,

I have a blue ‘02 curvy SV650s that I’ll want to sell in a couple of weeks when I get a new bike. It has just had an mot done, rear chain replaced and there’s plenty of life in the tyres....

21 quest think they said the forks in the top yoke sat wider than in the bottom by 12mm. I'll have a better look when I go and collect it (wheeling it home)

Hold up sorry, just re read yours and you said lower yoke, not top yoke.

I use the abba stand and its brilliant. That looks even easier and cheaper but i'd be hesitant about a stand that only holds the bike on one side like that. I'd give it a serious look though.

I've just been researching this a bit before I changed mine. Check the stock rear shock length (330mm for curvy). you would need to find one the same, or similar length. You can google that and get...

So l've made some changes to my curvy S. Swapped the rear shock for something better, had heavier oil dropped into the forks, put a hiflow air filter and new end can on and had the carbs balanced....

According to Bibio on the link below '06 to '10 is the same, probably worth checking for yourself. If you're looking on ebay you could ask the seller to measure the length.

Finally got round to sorting the settings out. Have had a shop crank the preload right up whilst changing for some heavier oil in the forks. the rear now sits just right, a little higher than it was...
