UPDATE: it seems my k3's alternator / rotor has a pulse generator coil. This is missing from the book of lies wiring diagram for that version.

I take it using that connector wouldnt be a good...

Those wires disappear into the loom. I (really) hope the alarm installer didnt cut up that part of the loom.

The cables from the connector at the rear brake...

The cables from the connector at the rear brake go straight into the taped up loom under the tank.
