Re: Tyre change

I would be interested in knowing the process you use in changing a tyre. There is a ytube vid using a piece of rope to get a tyre off - looked too easy!

Re: The All New Megathread

Progress made! A 5inch set of mole grips undid the two screws opposite each other, the third was removed by tapping the float bowl until the seal gave, then the screwdriver undid it.
You were crack...

Re: running on one

Well I have made a start. Checked the diaphragm on the suspect card looks fine. I then tried to unscrew the float bowl and cannot shift any of the 3 screws using a JIS impact driver. If I drill the...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Re mower - I have just bought a new petrol - We let a large chunk of the grass turn into hay meadow last year and intend doing the same again. In September we cut it down, and I was concerned if an...

Re: The All New Megathread

Unfortunately, as time goes on, I get too involved , had to give up on Scots vs England for the last quarter and watch it after I knew the result on catch up. (Gave up riding motorbikes in the...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

I was with C.N for years but out of the blue they hiked up my premium by £100 a few years ago, so I transferred to to Adrian Flux who did the same last year, now with Bennett's which is £30 cheaper...

Re: running on one

Well today was nice and warm so I had a quick look. I took what I think is the vacuum pipe from the bottom of the tank. No petrol came out and the bike did start with it disconnected. That did...

Re: B29 Overexposed Bleaklow, Peak District

For what it is worth, many years ago I walked onto Bleaklow - I would well imagine that the path has now been slabbed - a lot of the paths in the area have been. The area, once you leave Edale is...
