I like a big tank too. Filling up every 100 miles is a chore. The VFR 1200 lost sales due to a big thirst and small tank. I suspect the Suzuki Katana will suffer too.

I guess these bikes are large capacity and push out a lot of bhp. That bhp has to come from somewhere probably by getting more air/fuel into the engine. I do wonder also if the increased emissions...

That mpg does sound low. I don't really do short journeys on mine anymore but when i did the trip was 20 miles to work and I never got below 45mpg.

Many years ago a had a gsx750 and commuted 3...

I rode my friends 1200 adventure. It felt like a chopper after the VFR. I've long legs but I struggled with the height of it. Overall I can't see what all the fuss is about.
