Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Puncture in the car. The "tyre pressure warning" message is usually a false alarm but out with the pressure gauge and... blast it. Limped slowly to a local garage as there was still a reasonable...

Re: What's the worst car you've owned?

1998 Rover 416. On paper it sounded good: economy of a 1.4 and the bhp/performance of a 1.8. All complete rubbish as you had to thrash it to get any get up and go with the inevitable impact on petrol...

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread

I'll hold out a bit longer I think... also want to get my seat upgraded with a gel insert like I did with the SV before I do much riding this year.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

My smile of the day came at my own expense. Out hunting down a geocache I lost an argument with gravity and slid 10 feet on me ****. Nothing damaged except my pride and luckily nobody else was about...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

That's true but their brand new shiny trainers and still-creased-from-the-packet "muscle tops" are comical. Which is some recompense I suppose.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

January resolution gym idiots. The place was packed out this evening - it's bad enough that I can only really go after work and it's busy enough as it is without wallies taking up all the machines...

Re: Triumph group on facebook

Snigger.

Some of us don't have/want Friendface so unfortunately groups like that are not much use to me. Looks like you lot are stuck with me ;)

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Changed the oil and cleaned the plug on the lawnmower before sharpening it's blade. Nice satisfying winter job.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I remember those days too. Was too skint to be able to afford the dry socks/liners available then, much to the amusement of my work colleagues. After a few years I gave in and bought a car, even...

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread

The "great leveller" of IR35 is apparently going to hit those of us contracting in the private sector too soon. Oh joy. Thankfully I get brought in to look at change and specific projects mainly...

Re: The Org Bar, Pull up a chair and share. What're you drinking?

Tonight I think I'd better stick to H2O - hate to think how many units I've had in the last ten days. The number of empty wine bottles in the recycling bin is quite shocking...
