Re: AL7 at 20,000 miles

I had a white/blue one back in the day, it got dropped frequently, including the day I fitted new Micron pipes, dropped it on a roundabout two miles after leaving home and flattened the right side...

Re: AL7 at 20,000 miles

Yet to be determined whether or not the forthcoming 650 twin will be reliable.
Absolutely everything on the bike is brand new, as is the design, development and engineering team.
Its a seriously...

Re: AL7 at 20,000 miles

No, pillion pegs now look like this

Pillion pegs too far away from seat and too far forward.
Bag just slides down sloping...

Re: AL7 at 20,000 miles

Too much of a hassle, I just want to plonk bag on seat, whap two bungees across it and ride off.
Don't want to be doing any seat removal or fannying around.
The seat isn't big enough and there's...

Re: AL7 at 20,000 miles

There's one bike which is stirring my curiosity just now, the new Royal Enfield 650 GT

I know, I know, its a 270 fake, but if it looks as good in the metal as it does in the review videos and if...

Re: Motorcycling in Southern California

Re: Wheel colour opinions

Gloss black all over, as shiny as you can get.
Easiest to keep clean.
Speaking from bitter experience, avoid white or light colours or exposed alloy on the rims at all costs.

Re: Are SV1000 really an investment?

Can't see why anyone would pay over 2500 for an SV1000 when you can get a decent VTR1000 for around a grand less?

Re: Central Heating Boilers:

Worcester Bosch use a lot of Italian made parts.
Every part I've ever had replaced in a Worcester boiler (one gas, two oil) was made in Italy.

Re: new Suzuki Katana

Hopefully that's just the welcome screen and disappears to be replaced by more useful info.
If that's on all the time its as bad as the swingarmudguard.

Maybe there's an aftermarket tail untidy option to switch to a proper mudguard...?

Re: new Suzuki Katana

I think Honda were trying to allude to the SR-71 rather than the feathery flappy thing.
The SR-71 was a beast of a thing, send a ballistic missile after it and all the pilot needs to do is open the...

Re: another Darwin award candidate

The scale of the USA justice system problem is something I became aware of by watching the documentary 13th on Netflix.

I've mentioned this film on here a few times, I can't recommend this film...
