Take off or disconnect whatever you like, keys or no keys, it remains a mechanically propelled vehicle and needs the lot to be on the road. Pushing it...

Illegal. End of. The age/date of first reg of vehicle is irrelevant (bar pre 73), the current laws apply to plates supplied after Sept 2001. Plates aren't allowed to be patterned or textured, pressed...

All being well, I'll have all the bits bolted back on, my borrowed battery back and a new tax disc tommorow and will be venturing out for the first ride of the new season by early PM tomorrow 02/04...
