Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

My 2001 SK1 passed MOT yesterday too, no advisories. It had done all of 360mls since last MOT, too many toys and too many holidays :)

In fairness I do plenty of miles on the bikes in total, just...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

If you haven't watched "The Piano" series on Ch4, treat yourself.

The final was broadcast this week, and there's also a slightly different version on More4 of the final concert also worth a watch....

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

You genuinely couldn't make this s**t up.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Did a little repair job on a dwarf wall at a farmhouse near here. The house dates back to Tudor times in parts.
The wall was built in the last 30yrs or so but used old bricks from the site, a random...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Out on the bike today. There's definitely an increase in insect life out and about, at least round this way. For the last couple of years there's been next to nothing splatted on the bike or visor,...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

A few people have raised the issue of the "no-fly zone", pointing out that in the past it has been the UN which imposes it, not NATO.

I have a Nitron R1 on my NC700. Excellent products if a little pricey, but you soon forget the cost ;)

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

I'd taken the Deauville 650 (carbs) off road at the end of Oct last year, drained carbs, turned fuel off. It has an electric fuel pump but it only runs when the engine turns (signal from ECU) so...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Ah, right, you mean the philosophical consideration of what is exchange or payment. The pound sterling is just an accounting unit, apparently dating from the 8th or 9th century Anglo Saxon ages being...
