Re: Vintage film cameras

I had a similar problem recently with a Contessamat. In that case the winding lever eventually swung a quadrant-shaped piece which was the rack of a rack and pinion, the pinion being the back end of...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Re: Cutting out as pulling up to junctions

Hmm I'd check the carb balance, the tip over switch, and also the main connector from the solenoid to the rest of the bike (the square plug) as it has been known for the main pin to start to melt...

Re: another Darwin award candidate

That's what's called blind obedience. None of us should be so closed-minded to think that what is already in place is automatically acceptable.

Bibs not sure I agree, after all, if it were just a...

If you've got anything to sell then wait until December, I noticed last year the prices were pretty high compared to after Christmas

Re: Vintage film cameras

Buy it and sell the other on? Re. the Konica, all it could take it to open up the battery compartment and unjam the shutter, in order to set the ball rolling again. Oh, and some film!

Re: Vintage film cameras

Ah I see, I thought I'd seen something like it with a flying cable release. I vaguely remember when I was a teenager, a guy at the astronomical society had one, though I never saw it in the flesh....

Re: Vintage film cameras

Ah the legendary photosniper, doesn't it need a cable release to connect to the trigger, or maybe I just can't see it?

Re: Vintage film cameras

I'd got for a combi then. Depending on the age and state of the heating pipework you could make it a sealed system or have it vented if it already is. We had to go with vented to start with as...

Re: August Photo Comp - Out of Proportion

Some great entries this month, it's time to VOTE!
