Re: SV parts clear-out

RE: Lock set.

Is ignition mechanism sticky at all? Mine takes a bit of manipulating to work sometimes and I'm after replacing it with a smooth operating one. That probably sounds a bit naff but I...

Re: SV parts clear-out

Will the ignition go on a naked K5? I don't know if different models use kit. :( If so, how much please?

Re: Buying a SV650

Similar to me. I got a 55 naked with 4,000 miles on it for £2400 and it had a MTC can on it. It had done about 400 miles since it's first MOT, assuming that to be genuine mileage as the bike was in...

Re: SV Suspension

I have the shock at maximum and the forks one less. It still feels dodgy when getting a move on down the lanes but fine on A roads. I'm looking to progressive springs and an adjustable shock in the...

Re: MTC Exhausts??

I've got an oval one on my bike. It's loud enough with the baffle in for me and it's a very nice, to my ears, sounding can. It barks in to life and if anyone is walking past they always look. Anyway...

Yeah, sure. PM me your details and I'll get it to you once I've taken it off. I'm guessing that your location isn't far from me.

Hugger

I've fitted an old hugger from a Yamaha Fazer to my SV. All I did was drill an extra hole in the chainguard side and zip tie it to the swing arm on t'other side. It looks OK, I'll tidy it up later,...

Hey !

I now ridden my SV650 naked for 82 miles and the tyres feel like pooh. They are the original Dunlops and have done 4700 miles in 5 years. I'm loathe to junk them as there's loads of life...
