Cardo Spirit Review

Myself and my wife have been biking for 2 months, so we decided to get some headset units so that we could talk to each other for routes etc. for longer spins. After doing a fair bit of research, I...

Re: trip meter resets after switching off bike

No, it doesn't lose time. Everything else seems fine, I'm just confused why the trip meters get reset to 0

trip meter resets after switching off bike

I just went for a 150(ish?) mile spin that I wanted to use my trip meter to measure (using trip a). I had to fuel the bike half way through, and when I turned the bike off and on again at the garage...

Re: Tail Bag Recommendations?

I've bought a lot of oxford items in the past (mainly bicycle stuff); some have be great and others have been poor. Do you have an oxford tail pack that you would recommend?

Tail Bag Recommendations?

I'm wondering if anyone has a tail bag recommendation for a gen3 sv650?

Most of my trips are short, so I don't really want to attach stuff to the frame just for the odd time I go on a longer trip,...

Re: Keys rattling against tank

Thanks for the replies. I am 100% sure I'll forget the key in the bike if I have it separated. I'll probably but something like this on it so it's easy to see!

Keys rattling against tank

I have my motorcycle key on a ring with a bunch of other keys. When I’m out on the road I can hear the keys rattling a bit against parts of the motorcycle. What do people use to stop keys scratching...

My first photo rally point!

I've been riding for about 3 weeks now, and decided to do the photo rally point (http://irishphotorally.ie/) that was closest to me (along with the wife on her scooter). What a day for it!

Re: What fuel app do you use?

I had downloaded the Fuelly android app, and it was brutal. However, I see that they also have aCar which seems decent - I'll give that a go.

What fuel app do you use?

Are there any recommendations for fuel apps? I have 2 bikes (the SV and a scooter) that I'd like to track the fuelling for.

I was previously using the 'Motorcycle Fuel Log' app, but it only tracks...

Re: Clock losses time

Ah, that would be it - I did just turn it off after setting the time. I'll try again tomorrow but definitely sounds like operator error alright!

Clock losses time

So I bought a 2018 SV650 last week. I set the clock to the correct time this morning, but when I started up the bike a few hours later, it hadn't kept time - the time was only a hour later than what...

Re: Do you refuel on the side stand or centre stand/centred?

I was chatting with someone today who said that on a few occasions, the attendant in a few different garages has refused to turn the pump on until he got off the motorcycle.

Do you refuel on the side stand or centre stand/centred?

I joined the SV650 club last week (my first motorbike ever), and I just put petrol in it for the first time today.

I refuelled it while it was on its side stand, but I didn't feel like I could...

Re: RIP test rides

On my recent bike search, there were several places that wouldn't even allow a test drive on a second-hand bike - I was shocked. I'm new to biking, so any little handling differences are a big thing...
