Yeah iv been thinking of using just standard clips too, but i wasnt sure how they sit, the OEM bracket is quite long and sits the hose out from the forks a ways, but i was worried the standard clips...

the standard set up is over the fender and bleeds fine, i dont know where you're getting your info from, but it seems unlikely that it would cause a serious issue

GOOD MAN!!! they, the cnc brackets look a lil overkill but the simple rubber hose clips could work and will hopefully solve my stoopid brain fart LOL

Hmmmm i wonder if the right side bracketfrom the 2017ABS would fit on my SK5 forks and whether i could fit the fender clip from it too, brain is fizzing LOL!!!

I think you're right, i guess with the race set up my concern is where do the hoses secure, on the left side (speedo sensor side) you have bracket for the rubber fixing so thats fine but on the right...

Ok so one reply said that one kit re uses the splitter, and another reply says to replace the hoses alone as custom lengths which just adds to my confusion LOL!!

i guess what i really need to know...

So im gonna upgrade the front hoses to braided, and as a purist i kinda wanna keep the original layout, hose across the front fender, however whenever i read of "standard" hose kits from say...
