Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I'll never even attempt to use them again after the run around and incompetence I experienced with them recently.

Re: What have you tinkered with today?

Hooked up the auxialliary lights on the DRZ. Bit of a faff running all wiring and soldering in from a switched live to the relay, then trying to fit it all tucked away in limited space. Got a feeling...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Noth systems ask you for a parcel number. If you don't give the number it says they can't do anything without the number. If you do give it then it reads you the status that you can read yourself in...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Anyone know how to actually contact anyone that's not a chat loop robot on their site or and automated loop that hangs up on you after reading out the status of a parcel that hasn't moved for a week,...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Commuting this week. Crazy traffic in Bristol and selfish *tvv*tz who purposefully block me from filtering. Had one guy who edged right to block me passing as he was waiting on a jammed up roundabout...

Re: Movember

Thanks for your donation and support Craig. It definitely spurred me on during the very difficult first week.

Re: Movember

So the last few weeks have been a challenge to say the least. But, I'm a bit surprised to say that this morning I actually reached the 60k target for the month. With another week to go. Not something...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

The only thing I've ever found to help for sinuses is hot (as hot as you can stand) and then cold facecloths held onto them to try and encourage as much blood flow as possible. Alternate a few times...

Re: What have you tinkered with today?

I left mine permanently in place of one of the footpeg bolts with the footpegs on. I didn't find they got in the way at all.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Re: What have you tinkered with today?

Space, weight , cost, aesthetics.

Abba stand with swingarm kit left installed on the bike works great on the SV.

Any bike I've had with a centre stand usually gets left on the side stand...

Re: What have you tinkered with today?

Checked again today and the voltage output from the stator running was non-existent.

Opened it up and I'm going to just bite the bullet and swap it for a good new RM Stator one. Probably a new...

Re: What have you tinkered with today?

Do you know what replacement you went for? I'm tempted to look for another RM Stator one if I need to swap it out, but they're expensive. If there's something as good for less then I'd opt for that...

Re: What have you tinkered with today?

Trying to work out what's wrong with the VFR. Took it for MOT yesterday and it passed. On the way home charging dropped and then lost all power.
I've recently done a reg rec upgrqade and hard wired...

Movember

I've decided after nearly getting involved the last few years and not getting organised that this is the year. Anyone else doing it?

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Re: 82,000...

Sorry I should have said other income(s), not other "jobs", as they're not jobs as you or I know them. Not jobs that use all your waking hours and keep you exhausted enough to not rise up and instead...
