I'm not sure this works, but I liked the look of the frosty grass highlighted at night by the outside security lights. A bit of flash too as the 430ex was used off camera. Doesn't look as twinkly as...

Took this shot on the way to work with my MotoG phone. Not famed for it's great camera but still usuable. It's all about the light.

No HDR, just levels tweaked in Elements. Also shot in RAW which gave room to play further. Dusk is a better time to shoot than pure darkness I find
